Privacy notice

This notice explains how AppointLane handles personal data. A business using AppointLane controls its customer appointment, queue, message, payment-reference, and intake data. AppointLane processes that data to provide the service. AppointLane controls account, security, billing, support, and product-feedback data needed to operate the platform.

Data we handle

Account identity and session records; organization settings and staff permissions; customer contact details, consent, appointments and queue activity; private visit messages; payment status identifiers without card details; and intake answers or requested documents. Technical logs contain request IDs, routes without query strings, status, timing, and safe error categories.

Why and how long

We use data to deliver requested services, secure accounts, prevent abuse, send consented communications, support organizations, meet legal duties, and improve reliability. Secure intake documents default to 90-day deletion. Deleted organizations have a 30-day recovery period. Other retention depends on the organization's policy and applicable law; organizations should collect only what they need.

Sharing and international processing

Data may be processed by infrastructure, Couchbase hosting, email, Stripe, Twilio, Google Calendar, Microsoft, malware-scanning, monitoring, and support providers only when the relevant feature is enabled. Organizations are responsible for choosing lawful providers and transfer safeguards for their region.

Your choices and rights

Customers should first contact the organization they booked with to request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion. Account holders can contact [email protected]. We may verify identity and preserve records where law, fraud prevention, disputes, or security require it.

Security

AppointLane uses tenant authorization, expiring guest links, rate limits, encryption for configured secrets and documents, malware scanning, audited state changes, and payment providers that keep card data outside AppointLane. No online service can promise absolute security.
